Alex Allenchey is the Administrator at Artforum’s artguide, working to craft a comprehensive and robust global art listings platform for galleries and gallery-goers alike. Previously he was Associate Director at CHART Gallery in Tribeca, helping organize exhibitions that were featured in The New York TimesArtforumThe Brooklyn RailCultured and Hyperallergic, among other publications. He also previously worked at 1969 Gallery and Thierry Goldberg Gallery. 

Alex has curated many exhibitions, including at the galleries above, as well as at Project: ARTspace, Underdonk and Barney Savage Gallery. He received his MFA in Art Criticism & Writing from the School of Visual Arts and his BFA from James Madison University.
