About the Facilitators:
Aaron Pierce represents clients in connection with a wide range of corporate, financing and entrepreneurial transactions with a particular focus in the entertainment industry especially as regards film and music. Mr. Pierce routinely prepares and negotiates intellectual property agreements (including license, coexistence and website agreements). He also is experienced in intellectual property litigation, including matters connected with trademarks, copyrights, right of publicity and anti-counterfeiting. Aaron was selected for inclusion in New York Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition, Thomson Reuters, 2015-2019, and was also included in New York Super Lawyers, Thomson Reuters, for 2015-2019. Heather Zises is a media professional with 20 years of relevant experience in public relations, copywriting and editing. She specializes in contemporary art with a particular interest in feminist and identity-based practices. Heather started her career at Pace Gallery and Phillips, where she curated numerous exhibitions and site-specific installations at galleries, art fairs and alternative spaces worldwide. She is editor of the multi-award winning book 50 Contemporary Women Artists (Schiffer 2018) which is available at top art institutions and distinguished university libraries, and is a contributing writer for Fine Art Globe, Fjords Review and Pregame Magazine. Raised in Boston as a ballerina, Heather graduated from Cornell University with a BA in English and Dance, and has an MA in Art History and Connoisseurship from Christie’s Education.
